THE TENTH ELENA OBRAZTSOVA INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF YOUNG OPERA SINGERS
The competition procedure
On August 18th, 2015, from 10.00 a.m. till 12.00 noon, every participant should be registered in the Directorate of the Competition. The address is: St.Petersburg,
Mikhailovskaya str., 2, Grand Hall of the D.D.Shostakovich St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonia, Beethoven foyer.
The draw ceremony will take place on August 18th, 2015, at 12.00 noon at the Beethoven foyer of the Grand Hall of the D.D.Shostakovich St.Petersburg Academic
Philharmonia, St.Petersburg, Mikhailovskaya str., 2.
The competition consists of three rounds.
To be allowed to participate in the 1st round, the contestants should present to the Directorate of the Competition all the documents requested in time and according to the
rules stated in present regulations, and to be invited officially by the Directorate of the Competition.
No more than 40 participants will be selected for the 2nd round by the jury’s decision.
No more than 15 participants will be selected for the 3rd round by the jury’s decision.
Order of the performances which is determined by the draw for the 1st round will remain the same for both 2nd and 3rd rounds.
All the music must be performed on the source language by heart.
The participation in the Competition means that contestants confirm all the conditions stated in all the parts of present regulations.
The Charitable Foundation Of Support For The Music Art «Elena Obraztsova Foundation» and The Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre will be copyright holders of any filming,
audio and video recording during the Competition.
For the auditions of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds an admission is free.
For the gala-concert, opening concert, Final and closing concert of the Competition admission is by ticket and invitation.
