 EVGENIYA MIROSHNICHENKO
Evgeniya Miroshnichenko was born in the Ukraine, where she graduated from the Tchaikovsky State 
Conservatory under the tuition of Professor M.E. Donets-Teisseire. She made her stage debut at the 
Kiev State Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Verdi's 'Traviata', in which she played the role of Violetta. 
She later completed an internship at La Scala in Milan, under the famous singer and pedagogue Elvira del Idalgo.
For 40 years Ms. Miroshnichenko has been the leading soloist at the Ukrainian National Opera. Her repertoire includes Lucia in Lucia di Lammermur (Donizetti); The Queen of Nights in Die Zauberflöte(Mozart); Manon in Manon(Massenet); Gilda in Rigoletto(Verdi); Marfa in The Tsar's Bride, The Tsarina of Shemakha in The Golden Cockerel(Rimsky-Korsakov); Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia; Iolan in Milana(Mayboroda)...
Possessing a voice unique in its timbre and range, Evgeniya Miroshnichenko has been referred to as ‘The Singer one has to Watch’, due to the astonishing combination of her vocal mastery and dramatic talent.
She has toured extensively, and has brought her solo concerts and performances to stages in the former USSR, Europe, the Middle East, Canada, Japan, and China.
Ms. Miroshnichenko has had a plethora of honours conferred upon her, including National Artist of the USSR, National Artist of the Ukraine, USSR Prize Laureate, Ukrainian Prize Laureate; she is also an International Competition Laureate.
Since 1980, she has been a professor at the Ukrainian National Music Academy, where she has trained some remarkable young singers, many of whom are now prizewinners on stages around the world. At present she occupies herself mainly with public activities; in 2002 she founded the E. Miroshnichenko International Charity Fund.
