PROGRAM OF THE COMPETITION
1ST ROUND (qualifying round) with piano accompaniment:
2 arias from the operas by Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, Mussorgsky, Rimsky - Korsakov, Tchaikovsky
2ND ROUND with piano accompaniment:
1. Chamber-vocal work of a Russian composer (Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Sviridov)
2. Chamber-vocal work of a West European composer
(Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Grieg, Wagner, Wolf, Debussy, Saint-Saёns, Offenbach, Poulenc, Chausson, Hahn, Berlioz ,De Falla, Granados, Obradors)
3RD ROUND (with orchestra)
Two operatic arias (five arias should be stated in an application;
after 2nd Round the Jury will specify two of these five arias to be performed by the finalist in the 3rd Round).
